We arrived to warmness again!! And not too hot, very nice temperature :) Rurrenabaque is actually quite charming little village with delicious French bakery!
We booked a jungle tour straight for the next day. Three days inside Madidi national park, sleeping in a jungle lodge. We took a boat up for Beni river (which eventually goes to amazon), stopping in Tuichi river. The trip was good, our guide was not. There was seriously lack of information, he was late, drunk and not doing what he was paid for.
First day we went to see parrots and a viewpoint where you could see the river and rainforest. On the way we also saw and heard pigs. Our Pachamama ritual in the evening wasn't very impressive as he didn't tell us anything and was only smoking. Second day we had two long walks, on the first one we got soaked completely. Two very heavy down pours came and we could barely see in front of us. Forest changed to a magrove in half an hour. It was an experience :) It is impressive how much you can see and hear in the jungle. So many different birds, butterflies, monkeys, squirrels, rabbits, frogs and other land animals plus wind, rain and thunder.
Our guide was drunk on the third day and 40min late so it was almost light when we left for our walk (we were suppose to be spotting tarantelas while still dark). We were also suppose to go fishing but it was too hard for him even to stand up. No point mentioning that our afternoon jewerly making wasn't much more of a success. Which I had waited the most.
