What do I say.. Nothing. Deep down in the valley, ugly buildings, fumes from lots of cars. That was my first impression.
I don't know where I catched a cold, but I did so didn't have energy to do anything. I only wanted to lie on bed watching movies but it was hard to find a nice hostel, either they were really expensive or proper shit holes. We swapped hostel like 6 times, finally found a nice one. Later when walked on town we saw few nice buildings, obviously Sopocachi area is the place to be if you want to escape.
We had planned to go to the jungle, but of course Bolivians started striking so no buses were allowed to leave from the city. I didn't want to stay in the city with all the fumes so we booked flight to Rurrenabaque.
